The 12th Judicial District of Tennessee encompasses Bledsoe, Franklin, Grundy, Marion, Sequatchie and Rhea counties. The Recovery Court serves felony offenders in this area who have a documented history of chronic substance abuse and criminal behavior. The program targets non-violent adult offenders at high risk for re-offending.
The Recovery Court is a diversion program that provides holistic rehabilitation services to offenders, as opposed to incarceration, to promote recovery from drug addiction and decrease recidivism rates. These services include:
The Recovery Court seeks to remove not only substance abuse and criminality but also the stigma associated with dependence and the drain offenders have on their community. Through services provided and the hope infused by our dedicated team of professionals, we have seen an inspiring display of resilience within the people we serve. The court currently has an 84% success rate of graduates not re-offending.
